We are delighted to offer a collection of ceramic goods made by our Shop Associate, Elle Henault. Elle is a student at Maine College of Art and is passionate about process, form, and function. We love the earthy texture, considered details, and incredible craftwork in her pieces.

Elle Henault is the craftswoman behind Marigold Ceramics. Since 2018 she has created functional vessels that embrace the slow moments - shared meals with friends and family, bowls filled with fresh batter, taking a moment to burn your favorite incense, cradling a warm cup of tea. As someone who cares for her loved ones through cozy atmospheres, and long conversations over nourishing meals, her art is an extension of how she nurtures those around her. She is deeply inspired by folk craft and when she is not making pots she is weaving, knitting, baking bread, and with her dog Tevye.

Wheel thrown stoneware soda fired to roughly 2200ºF
