Rachel Alexandrou, the primary forager and designer for Giantdaughter. Based in mid-coast Maine, Rachel forages local greenery and artfully arranges pieces into wreaths for your home.
”I create wild foraged feasts, teach plant identification and safe, sustainable foraging, and offer thoughtfully crafted products made of wild plants. Everything I do an make is to promote land stewardship. Getting to know the landscape through plants is a step towards connecting to place. Whether you come on a foraging walk with me, experience a feast, or just buy a wreath, you are participating in paying attention, and therefore caring for our shared home.”

We will offer two styles:
- The Field Wreath is a funky wild wreath. Grapevines from a local vineyard create the base for mixed evergreens, berries, grasses, milkweed and more. Each Field Wreath is unique, carefully composed from special foraged pieces. Perfect cottage core decoration that will last all season and beyond.
- This half pine, half juniper wreath is elegant and a little punk-rock. Sumac and milkweed add a pop of color and charm while also spreading native, pollinator friendly seed in your neighborhood.
