The mission of The Plant Good Seed Company is connecting plants and people. They offer vegetable, flower, and herb seed varieties sourced directly from their farm in Ojai, California and a network of growers that reflect their agriculture ethic.

These eye-catching “black” heirloom tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum) are actually closer to mahogany in color, with blushes of red and purple. Plants produce fruits the size of grapes with a complex flavor palette that should be expected. 

Danvers 126 (Daucus carota) is a dependable no-frills heirloom carrot perfect for production on small farms. It's sweet and crisp for fresh eating and creamy and succulent when roasted or in soups. 

An Italian heirloom broccoli (Brassica oleracea) that produces a medium sized green central head and sustained side shoots. 

Dragon Langerie (or "Dragon's Tongue") is a Dutch heirloom snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) that tastes as beautiful as it looks. Plants produce prodigious yields of white, flattened pods that with purple streaks that are harvested young and eaten whole. 

Lacinato (Brassica oleraceae), also known as Dinosaur, Black Tuscan, or Toscano Kale is an eighteenth-century Italian heirloom and easily the most recognizable and popular kale today. Plants form dark green, deeply savoyed leaves on tall, upright stalks make for easy harvesting.

Marketmore 76 (Cucumis sativus) is the most popular open-pollinated cucumber variety for market farmers and home gardeners alike. Plants bear seven to nine-inch dark-green fruits that are crisp and mildly sweet.

Rainbow (Beta vulgaris) is our own blend of red, pink, white, and yellow chards. Each color in this mix has its own uniqueness, with subtle flavor and texture differences.
