One of our favorite customers came in one day and as we got to talking, she enthusiastically shared she had been buying our Maine-made taper candles and painting them - a new hobby discovered. We loved them so much, we immediately asked if we could sell them in store. Several years later and we have decided they need to live on our website to reach audiences far and wide! Several years ago, JoAnn’s daughter asked for painted candles. The request started a profusion of whimsical designs inspired by the flora of Munjoy Hill, here in Portland, and the joy always found at The Post Supply. Danica tapers are patiently hand painted in acrylics, adding the seasonal beauty of Portland to the Maine hand dipped candles.
