Katie bought a tea light pyramid from Dregeno years ago and every year it delights our children as we carefully unpack it each Winter and bring it out for the season. We burn the tealights most evenings all winter long.

With its natural tones and dark brown accents, the Erzgebirge Christmas pyramid is a real eye-catcher in any room. The pyramid consists of two tiers and provides space for tealights. On the lower rotating platform, you can see a winter child on a sled, a winter child holding skis, a snowman, and three spiral trees. The upper rotating platform features a squirrel and a hedgehog among six spiral trees. The propeller of the pyramid is in dark brown, perfectly complementing the overall appearance of the pyramid

Dregeno is a cooperative of woodturners. In 1919, woodturners and toy makers joined forces to form an association, so that together they would be stronger. This was the beginning of a success story that has lasted for 100 years. Today Dregeno is a cooperative with some 130 member companies, and as such is the largest sales platform for handcrafted products made in the Erzgebirge. 

They are based in the toy village of Seiffen where Erzgebirge craftsmanship all began.
