Katie bought a tea light pyramid from Dregeno years ago and every year it delights our children as we carefully unpack it each Winter and bring it out for the season. We burn the tealights most evenings all winter long.

The Christmas pyramid is made from high-quality materials. It consists of a ringed tree as its axis and is adorned with three children in ski attire and snowshoes. The rising warmth from the candles sets the propeller in motion, causing the winter children to rotate.

Dregeno is a cooperative of woodturners. In 1919, woodturners and toy makers joined forces to form an association, so that together they would be stronger. This was the beginning of a success story that has lasted for 100 years. Today Dregeno is a cooperative with some 130 member companies, and as such is the largest sales platform for handcrafted products made in the Erzgebirge. 

They are based in the toy village of Seiffen where Erzgebirge craftsmanship all began.
