Katie bought a tea light pyramid from Dregeno years ago and every year it delights our children as we carefully unpack it each Winter and bring it out for the season. We burn the tealights most evenings all winter long.

The pyramid with snowmen is a true masterpiece from the Erzgebirge. The centerpiece of the Christmas pyramid is a handcrafted chip tree, adorned with many small green trees and three cheerful snowmen. The figures are colorfully designed and perfectly complement the subtle appearance of the pyramid. The pyramid is powered by the rising warmth of the candles and rotates slowly in a circle, creating a fascinating spectacle that ensures a cozy atmosphere.

Dregeno is a cooperative of woodturners. In 1919, woodturners and toy makers joined forces to form an association, so that together they would be stronger. This was the beginning of a success story that has lasted for 100 years. Today Dregeno is a cooperative with some 130 member companies, and as such is the largest sales platform for handcrafted products made in the Erzgebirge. 

They are based in the toy village of Seiffen where Erzgebirge craftsmanship all began.
